How to activate the new newsletter design in Connections 6.0 CR4

I had been asked, why the newsletter are still looking the old way after upgrading Connections 6.0 to CR4. You’ll first need to update the notification config to activate the newsletter V2 design: In the properties section of the notification-config.xml you have to add the following line: It then should look like this: Then you’ll need to save it, sync the changes in WebSphere and restart the server containing the news application.

IBM Connections 6.0 CR4 release information & download link collection

Today CR4 for IBM Connections 6.0 has been released and as always here the collection of all relevant links for the ease of use.  CR4 contains all fixes of CR1, CR2 and CR3 as well as the ones from the list below and brings many new features which you can read up here.  You can download it here. (1,58GB). You will also need to update the databases using the scripts here. As always you can use the update guide published here for guidance with the upgrade. IBM Connections 6.0 CR3 is out

Today CR3 for IBM Connections 6.0 has been released. It contains all fixes of CR1 and CR2 as well as the ones from the list below.  In addition CR3 improves Communities by leveraging IBM Connections Engagement Center technology to allow surfacing interesting information better inside of a community (Highlight App). Introducing the Visual Update 1 for IBM Connections (Project Periscope)

With the introduction of the IBM Connections Customizer it is now possible to customize the end user interface of IBM Connections 6.0 without having to touch the actual code, since it acts as a proxy between the End Users device and Connections and renders the required changes on the fly. I happy to announce that we have released the Component Pack 6.0.0.4 for IBM Connections 6.0 CR1. What is this component pack? It is a package of multiple components based on the Pink technology. Coming soon to Connections Cloud

A lot of changes are ahead of us on Connections Cloud.
